Why we do this work

Both Emily and Loren are passionate about birth and women and the amazing things their bodies can do. We want to celebrate not only all things birth and babies, but also moms and the process of giving birth, dad’s and their experiences, and all that comes together to create this season in your life with very young children.

As documentary photographers, our goal is to capture you, as you are, as much as possible. We hope that you will feel comfortable around us enough to just be yourselves, relax, and let us show you what this phase of your life looks like — the chaos, the exhaustion as much as the awe, love, and growing relationships. We do this work because it matters, because we believe that photos are the memories and we hope to make some great memories for you to hold close.
